You're so fortunate that you live near one of the Great Lakes! There may be nothing quite as soothing and healing as waves and waterfalls (the ions!). And videos are the best souvenirs. I have one friend who keeps a collection of #lowanxietymoments on her Instagram, and it's inspired me to start my own.

My refuge is the beach. When I can't get there, I turn one of my saved you tube videos featuring rolling waves and sunny skies.
